Stakeholder Consultation Meeting and Workshop at regional office of VoSB,Sharonkhola,Bagerhat

In December 6, 2023, an interactive session and workshop were organized at the regional office of Voice of South in collaboration with Bangladesh Water Partnership, with the initiative aimed at addressing water-related challenges in Sharonkhola Upazila of Bagerhat district. The event, titled “Stop Water Crisis: Time to Save the South of Bangladesh,” focused on the exchange of views and workshops on “On Climate Change adaptation with integrated water resource management by community engagement”

Ameena Begum, the Executive Director of Voice of South Bangladesh, presided over the meeting, which was attended by officials from Sharonkhola Upazila, including the Upazila Executive Officer, Upazila Chairman, educators, community representatives, journalists, and various esteemed individuals. The gathering deliberated on personal and societal awareness-based initiatives for water conservation, deriving decisions from the opinions shared during the meeting.

The event, skillfully led by Sharmin Eva, the project director of Voice of South Bangladesh, was conducted with diligence and precision. Dr. Hossain Al-Amin, the program consultant of Voice of South Bangladesh, played a key role in orchestrating the workshop. Representatives from Voice of South Bangladesh were also actively present, contributing to the discussions held during the session.
