VOSB distributes multivitamins in Sarankhola
Voice of South Bangladesh (VOSB) has distributed Vitamin Angels’ multivitamins among disadvantaged pregnant women and new mothers in Sarankhola, One of its hard to reach project areas in Bagerhat, a southern district of Bangladesh.
These small size high potential vitamins help to improve the nutrition status of new mother and children, who live in areas affected by climate change.
After distributing multivitamins in October this year, VOSB received positive feedbacks from the people who took them. They are looking for more multivitamins from Vitamin Angels, a US-based charity that offers free vitamins to people in need.
VOSB hopes to get more multivitamins supplies from the charity. It also needs support to strengthen its young volunteer’s who help the organization distribute multivitamins among the poor community.
