USAID’s Clean Catalyzing energy Bangladesh (CCEB) in association with Voice of South Bangladesh has organized a three-day regional program on improved cookstoves in Bagerhat, a southern city of Bangladesh.

The program introduces a new eco-friendly and sustainable cookstove that could make cooking safer and hassle-free. The stove named ”Venus cookstove” can be used to charge mobile phones and light a bulb apart from cooking regular menus.

The program took place from December 22 to December 25 where people from different sectors took part. They hope that the stove would make cooking more fun and will help the user save mother nature from pollution that is necessary to fight climate change.
