HLP helps rural communities in Bangladesh

The horizontal learning program (HLP) is showing progress in Bangladesh. The Union Parishad (UP) led peer-to-peer learning initiative is facilitated by the Government of Bangladesh and supported by development partners.

Under the HLP local governments connect with each other to identify, share, and replicate the very best practices of their peers. This process is strengthening the accountability of local authorities to their citizens, according to the HLP website.

This video shows how HLP ensures knowledge sharing in the rural areas of the country. Voice of South Bangladesh has been shown in the video as well.
